REVERSE FACE SEARCH / FACECHECK

FaceCheck reverse face search.
Start with one photo.

FaceCheck helps you explore possible public appearances of a face photo. Upload one clear image, adjust the crop, and review potential matches with confidence scores and links to their public sources. No account is required. A similar-looking result is a starting point for review—not proof of identity.

A CLEAR SEQUENCE

How FaceCheck works

  1. 01

    Choose and frame your photo

Start with a photo containing one clearly visible adult face. Drag the image to position it, then pinch or scroll to adjust the zoom. Keep the face in the frame without cropping away important features. If the image is blurry, heavily filtered, or taken from an extreme angle, choose a clearer photo before continuing.

  2. 02

Prepare your request and choose a pack

The 22-second preparation sequence leads to the one-time purchase options. It does not show confirmed matches or represent live searches of the displayed platforms. Choose a pack of 3 or 10 searches through Stripe Checkout. There is no subscription. If you already have FaceCheck credits, use your remaining balance instead of buying another pack.

  3. 03

Run the search and review the sources

After payment is verified, confirm the final photo and start the comparison using one search credit. Review the returned candidates, their confidence bands, and the linked public pages. Open the source before drawing a conclusion: names, captions, publication dates, and surrounding content can change how a result should be understood.

READ THE SIGNAL, THEN THE SOURCE

What a FaceCheck report shows

A FaceCheck report brings together possible visual matches, similarity scores, and public source links. These details help you decide which candidates deserve closer inspection. The score describes visual similarity; the source provides context. Neither should be treated as a verified identity, a complete personal history, or confirmation that someone controls a particular account.

Keep a review note: the source URL, date checked, confidence band, and what the page actually shows. Compare the name, caption, and publication date before deciding whether the result needs further attention.

Strong MatchHigher-similarity candidates to review first. Check the original page and surrounding details before connecting the result to a person.

Likely MatchCandidates that need closer comparison. Lighting, pose, image quality, or a similar-looking person may affect the result.

Unlikely MatchLower-similarity candidates. Do not rely on these results to identify someone or make an accusation.

These are similarity bands, not a percentage probability that two photos show the same person.

PUBLIC SOURCE CONTEXT

Where possible photo matches come from

FaceCheck explores possible matches within available public-source coverage. Results may lead to publicly accessible profiles, image posts, or other indexed pages. A platform icon illustrates a possible source category; it does not guarantee that every account on that platform is searchable.

Private profiles, deleted posts, blocked pages, and content that has not been indexed may be absent. A photo appearing on several pages also does not establish which page published it first. Follow the links and compare the context rather than assuming that a thumbnail tells the whole story.

WHY TAKE A CLOSER LOOK?

When to use FaceCheck

01

Review an unfamiliar profile photo

A profile name alone may not explain where a photo originated. Look for possible public appearances in another context, then compare the linked pages carefully. A reused image can be worth investigating, but it does not automatically prove that a profile is fraudulent or that its owner intended to mislead anyone.

02

Investigate possible photo impersonation

If you suspect that someone has copied your photo, use FaceCheck to look for possible public copies. Check whether the source actually uses your image and how it presents it. Save the relevant page URL and context before contacting the platform. Report impersonation through the platform’s own reporting process rather than relying on similarity alone.

03

Explore your own public photo footprint

Search a photo of yourself to review possible public appearances you may want to follow up on. Results can help you identify pages to inspect, but the report is not a complete inventory of your online presence. You decide whether a page needs a correction, a removal request, or no further action.

A BETTER STARTING IMAGE

Prepare a clearer photo for FaceCheck

A better input gives the comparison more useful facial detail to work with. Choose a sharp photo with even lighting and one unobstructed face. Avoid screenshots containing several people, tiny faces, heavy beauty filters, sunglasses covering the eyes, or large areas of unrelated background.

Use the crop controls to keep the face centered. Zoom enough to make the facial features visible, but leave room around the head instead of cutting tightly across the forehead or chin. Enlarging a low-resolution image cannot restore detail that is missing from the original.

If you are choosing a frame from a video, look for a moment with less motion blur and a more direct view of the face. Use photos you are entitled to submit and keep your search lawful and non-harmful.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

FaceCheck questions, answered

Understand the purchase flow, public-source coverage, and what a similarity score can—and cannot—tell you before starting a search.

What is FaceCheck?+

FaceCheck is a no-account reverse face search service for exploring possible visual matches from available public web sources. You begin with a photo rather than a name or username. The report provides candidates, similarity information, and source links so you can review the context yourself. It is not an identity verification service or a background check.

Do I need an account or subscription?+

No. FaceCheck offers one-time packs of 3 or 10 searches, with no recurring subscription. One credit runs one search; it does not guarantee a particular number of matches. Review the selected package and total in Stripe Checkout before paying. Stripe collects an email for your receipt and private recovery link, which help you return to your purchase.

When does the real search begin?+

The first 22-second sequence prepares your image and request. The public-source comparison starts after payment is verified and you confirm the final photo. Platform icons illustrate source context, not live searches of individual platforms.

Does FaceCheck search every social platform?+

No. Coverage depends on which public pages and images are available to the search provider. The platform icons do not mean that private accounts can be accessed or that each platform is searched directly during the preparation animation. Some relevant pages may never appear in a report.

Can I use searches I already purchased?+

Yes. This browser remembers your private FaceCheck wallet reference, while the server verifies the available balance. Keep your recovery link, particularly if you change devices or clear browser storage. Purchases belong to FaceCheck and are separate from purchases on our other websites.

What if no useful match appears?+

A photo may have little public exposure, or the relevant page may be private, removed, blocked, or unindexed. Blur, filters, an obstructed face, and unusual angles can also make comparison less useful. If you have a clearer photo, consider it before running another search. No useful matches does not prove that a person has no online presence.

How long can I access the photo and report?+

Search media has an access window of up to 24 hours. Review the report within that window and keep your private access link secure. This media-access window is separate from your remaining search balance.
